Sat 8am to 9.15am in JK Sports
- Parking near start line in Race Course parking area – See Map.
- Please do not park on the morning of the event in the SuperValu car park.
- Ask at Registration for directions to Car Park
- Showers available in Community Centre afterwards for €2
- Bag Drop available near the finish line in Cronins.
- Start line is in the car park
- Toilets in racecourse
- Safety briefing at 9.50am
- Half marathon starts at 10.15 am
- 10 KM starts at 10.15 am
- Wheelchair starts at 10.10 am
Welcome All.
You’ve heard the stories, looked at the pictures and saw the medals and T-Shirts being paraded around the place on the shoulders of those with bigger smiles than they can cope with.
And why not, they’ll have completed one of the greatest events known to North Kerry: The Kerry Crusaders Listowel Half Marathon and 10K.

The last 4 years were nothing short of spectacular, and this years promises to be better than the rest.
The price of the Half Marathon is €40
The price of the 10K is €25.

What time is it starting?
Chris, the Half is on at 10:00am and the 10K is at 10:15am.

Hi can u confirm is it a 10k or 10.7 also the map is a little confusing where is the start and finish line and where is oarking
Hi Bernadette, the 10K course is measured to AAI standard and is spot on 10K. The map that was shown was done by route plotter and not by a GPS watch which is probably why the discrepancy is. We’ll look into updating that.
Is it cups of water or bottles of water for water stops
We have 250ml bottles of water Pamela. The caps will be left on them as well. As always, we would hope that participants dispose of the empties in the provided bins or at the nearest mile marker sign.
I know the half is sold out but how do you get on the waiting list if there is one

If you message the Kerry Crusaders account on Facebook, they will accommodate putting you on the waiting list.
Travelling from Offaly and wondering
1) Where to park?
2) Any shower facilities available?
Hi Ger,
The community centre in Listowel town park has offered participants use of the shower facilities for small cost of €2. This is approx half a mile from the finish line.
There is parking provided next to the start line. When you register, just ask and they will direct you to where it is.

Thanks to the Crusaders for a brilliantly organised event today. First time entering your race but it definitely won’t be the last. T-shirts, medals and encouragement along the way (especially Siobhan ☺️) was first class.

if you get the race number posted do you still have to register on the day
Hi Caimin, No you will get your t-shirt and number in the post so you shouldn’t have to register. Just show up for the start line.
Hi i registered for the 2019 listowel half marathon on the 15th of October but I still haven’t received my number and top by post,will they be sent out soon

It looks in the system that you didn’t choose the Postal option. If you drop into registration Friday evening or Saturday morning, we’ll have your number and t shirt ready for you.
